Todays cup of wisdom: FEAR OF THE LORD! Oh my precious family this is so important! I pray that you take the time to read, because I know you will be blessed. Do not miss out on what our heavenly Father has for you today! He wants to strengthen you according to his might, by His power, through His word! There is only one healthy and necessary fear and it is FEAR OF THE LORD! While our God is a gracious and forgiving and merciful God, HE IS TO BE FEARED! He will not be mocked! He sees inside your heart, whether you are a follower of Jesus Christ or not! Our God is a JEALOUS GOD! He desires faithful children who have reverence and honor for him. He desires to bless us and not punish us. What is the fear of God? Today we will study together scriptures regarding this very subject. I pray that you are as blessed by reading as I have been by studying and preparing this message. When our Lord Jesus returns to reign His kingdom, he will come in a very different manner than His first coming. He will come with eyes of fire, dressed in a blood red garment, with a tongue as a two edged sword, to separate the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the chaff! He is coming to vanquish all evil, and to gather his children together for eternity! Lord bless this word for your glory, and prepare the hearts and minds to receive it, bless their ears and eyes and help them see your truth. In Jesus name! AAAAMEN! Revelation 1:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV) Introduction and Benediction 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. Revelation 1:12-20 New King James Version (NKJV) 12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; 16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. 17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me,[a] “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. 19 Write[b] the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this. 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw[c] are the seven churches. verse 17 PAY ATTENTION! When I saw Him I fell at my feet as DEAD! Total reverence, and fear, falling down as dead! Imagine that! Picture being there! The time is coming! Lord help us to be prepared and ready! In Jesus name!~ Amen! Revelation 19:11-16 King James Version (KJV) 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. Matthew 10:34 King James Version (KJV) 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. Luke 3:17 King Icon James Version (KJV) THE FINAL JUDGEMENT! 17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable. Matthew 25:31-46 King James Version (KJV) 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. AAAAMEN! I pray brothers and sisters that our minds are opening and our hearts are changing as we read, that the fear of the Lord is beginning to grow in us, that the reality of what is to come is helping us to consider and evaluate our walk with God. I pray our reverence is coming to life, and that a healthy fear of the Lord is taking root! For Gods word says Proverbs 1:7 King James Version (KJV) 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Who among us desires WISDOM? James 1:5-8 King James Version (KJV) 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 3:13-18 King James Version (KJV) 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. AAAAAAMEN! Proverbs 8:13 English Standard Version (ESV) 13 The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate Proverbs 14:26 English Standard Version (ESV) 26 In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge Psalm One 33:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. Proverbs 14:27 King James Version (KJV) 27 The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. Luke 1:50 King James Version (KJV) 50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. Proverbs 16:6 King James Version (KJV) 6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. Psalm 19:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. Philippians 2:12-13 English Standard Version (ESV) Lights in the World 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. 1 Peter 2:17 English Standard Version (ESV) 17 Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor. Psalm 34:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. Exodus 20:20 King James Version (KJV) 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. AAAAAMEN! We need to OPEN OUR EYES to the Fear of God! Deuteronomy 31:12 King James Version (KJV) 12 Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: Deuteronomy 5:29 King James Version (KJV) 29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Ecclesiastes 12:13 King James Version (KJV) 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. .AAAAAMEN! Praise the Lord! Do not forget His grace and mercy and all his benefits, BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER TO FEAR THE LORD YOUR GOD! Jesus said: Matthew 5:17-20 King James Version (KJV) 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Jesus came to fulfill His Fathers WILL! To the end! Thinking of what he did, how he was persecuted, how he suffered, took on death that we may have life, his walk was pure, undefiled, perfect, and yet He suffered and died for us, a world of SINNERS! HE LAID IT ALL DOWN FOR LOVE! DOES THIS NOT DESERVE REVERENCE? He came that we may have life and have it MORE ABUNDANT! We need to OPEN our eyes and ears to the word of God! OPEN our hearts and minds, to doing His will! God has given us ALL AUTHORITY OVER THE ENEMY, by the blood of our Precious Savior Jesus Christ and by the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! He gave us his word as a guide, our Lord as an example and the Holy Spirit as a helper! Ecclesiastes 3:14 King James Version (KJV) 14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Hebrews 10:26-31 English Standard Version (ESV) 26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. AAAAMEN! We need unite as Gods children to rebuke the enemy, to STOP TRAMPLING UNDERFOOT THE SON OF GOD, TO STOP OUTRAGING THE SPIRIT OF GRACE! IN JESUS NAME, FOR HIS GLORY, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD AND THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN TO COME! Holy Father in heaven we praise you and thank you for your word of truth! Lord it is our will and desire to honor you, to honor our Lord Jesus Christ! Help us to walk in a manner worthy of our calling, as true disciples, not just hearing your word but DOING AS IT SAYS! Let the mouth of DECEPTION BE SHUT and the VOICE OF WISDOM BE ALL WE CAN HEAR! Lord we Love you, we want to honor you for what you have done, thank you for all you have given us, praise you, and worship you in spirit and in truth! We look to the heavens and cry ABBA, FATHER! for our help comes from the Lord and our righteousness is of you alone! The signs are everywhere, the return of our Lord is drawing near! No man knows the day or hour!In the blink of an eye all will change! Help us to be found ready on that day. Let our Lord look upon us and say,Well done my faithful servant! Yes Lord this is our prayer! In Jesus name! AAAAMEN! Love and blessings to all In the name of Jesus!♥
