Todays front page in the Zimbabwe Independent claims Mugabe secretly underwent a major prostate cancer operation. In the same article we are told that Grace Mugabe is recovering from a minor appendix operation and will only return mid February. The contradictions seem obvious. How can a 90 year old undergo a major operation and be back on his feet in a few weeks while his considerably younger wife undergoes a relatively minor procedure and needs to rest till mid-February? Unless Mugabe is made of concrete these claims just dont add up. One can only conclude that this one of those many manufactured stories about a supposedly ailing Mugabe.
