Todays run was to get over the half marathon distance, which ive never done before. Luckily I had Joss with me, due to the fact we talk so much it makes me run slower lol. Must say it felt good until we hit yelland, the wind picked up the rain came down, we looked like drowned rats. It was also a totally overly excitable moment when I opened my sis gel first time (get me). Got to fremington still feeling good. We headed on to the road to run back, at this point my fists tighten, my neck and shoulders start to tighten, but still at least we are heading home. I decided we should get back on the tarka trail at yelland, but I decided to take the wrong turning, but like to blind pros we pretended to look at the lovely horses ;) getting to Instow was such a big relief, as I am so tight on my upper body and my lower body is now aching. The stretch between Instow and Bideford felt so long, specially running into a head wind. When we got half way over the old bridge strava let us know in a loud voice that we had done 15 miles, know im not one for smiling, but I did, and a little fist pump in the air. Yes we had done it. My ankles are a little sore and my butt cheeks are really not happy with me, but this is a massive mile stone for me and im over the moon
