Tomorrow morning is the beginning of a new life for us. Or a continuation of a wonderful current life for us, whichever the case may be. Were going to have our first annual January planning meeting for Franklin Wright Enterprises! I know its a little late in January to be having a first of the year meeting, but weve been busy traveling, enjoying life together, and taking inventory -- of our minds. I have been having meetings for years at Dunkin Donuts with my Board of Directors, which included Me, Myself, and I. Dressed anyway I wanted, bought whatever the budget would allow, and stayed as long as my tolerance could stand of listening to ALL of the voices in my head, usually talking very loudly, very simultaneously. Never got to have my silent partner at a BOD Meeting with me. He always had to work at his paying job, at Lockheed. But my Silent Partner, better known as Better Half, is retired from Lockheed now, so hes not only invited to my Board Meetings, but required to attend -- as long as he contributes to the planning and brings his whip and chair to tame the lions that have been out-talking me during these planning sessions. Ill let him take the minutes of the meeting. Since I cant read his writing, I can misinterpret those minutes any way that I please. Well plan MORE ways of marketing and selling books. And better ways of getting my mouth in front of audiences to speak. And more trips together before the gas prices rise too sharply again. And, and, and... Id like some strawberry cream cheese on that cinnamon raisin bagel, please!
