Tonight I had the opportunity to be a proud teacher for one of my former students. I taught Michael Thomas when he was at Noble his junior and senior year, and, before there was a South Side Noble campus, this young man and his mom would drive from the South Side to Augusta and Milwaukee to attend Noble Street. He was also the only young man ever in Noble to have not only played tennis, but I helped him get a scholarship to play tennis at Morehouse, where he graduated from. Tonight, he had a pre - launch event for his new media company, Hustle, and, watching him launch his passion, and seeing all the support he had made me so proud to have been in this young mans life. He is also the Project Manager for SunRai Consulting Group, which is going to be the consulting firm that I will be working with to help launch Change for the Better! to the next level. Seeing my students blaze their own paths to impact lives, then me supporting and investing my program into their ventures shows how full circle, and cant explain how proud of him I am!
