Tonight is the night! For a number of years, I have been hoping Burton Cummings, solo artist and former lead singer of The Guess Who would perform close enough to central Iowa that we could go see him. Tonight, he is at the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids and I purchased tickets for Donna almost immediately after they went on sale a few months ago. We ended up with tickets eight rows off of the stage, in the middle of the auditorium. There is no question, this will be an absolutely fabulous concert. Here is a clip of Burton Cummings, from The Guess Whos Running Back Through Canada tour a few years ago, performing two of their hits, Laughing and Undun. It would be nice if the entire group would have done a tour in the states, but unfortunately it didnt happen. Oh well, it was the voice of Burton Cummings that made the group anyway.
