Tonight we celebrated, a few days early, our 30th wedding anniversary. 30 years is amazing on different levels. In one sense it is a long time. Most people these days arent married for 30 years. Hardly anyone goes to jail or works the same job for 30 years. In a 24/7 world, 30 years is an eternity. On the other hand, 30 years have gone by in the blink of an eye. We have raised children, buried fathers, changed jobs, bought and sold the family home, cried, laughed, argued over silly things and agreed on the important issues. It hasnt always been easy, but being married to the love of my life is so good these days, I couldnt imagine it any other way. The kids laugh when I tell them their father is perfect. Perfect for me. But it is true! We are blessed beyond belief to have our kids and to have each other. I only hope they have the same experience. Heres to 30 more!!
