Trinity Misconceptions ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Trinity Misconceptions 1★ One of the absolute most popular verses used by trinitarians to teach their doctrine, is when the Messiah says this; John 10:30 I and the Father are one The scriptures talk of many things being one, but it does not have to mean it is the same. I personally think he meant something like one in purpose/mind/heart/will/accord, I can not really find the word for it but one does it best of course when understood in context. When we come across things which we are confused on or can not know what is meant for sure, one useful approach is to try to look for a sure fact that can at least tell us some of the things that was not meant. So if we look at John 17:11, Yahushua the Messiah is praying to YHWH and he asks that everyone become one just like him and YHWH are one; John 17:11 And no more am I in the world, and these are in the world, and I come unto you set apart Father, keep them in your name whom you have given to me, that they may be one as we are one His words there show that he did not mean that he was revealing himself to be YHWH his own Father at John 10:30, because if he was stating he was the Father at John 10:30 and the purpose of John 10:30 was for him to reveal that he was the Father, then why would he later pray that everyone was one like him and YHWH was one? He absolutely would not. So if that does not make it clear enough that he was not saying he was YHWH, consider this, if Yahushua the Messiah was YHWH, that would mean he was praying to himself, calling himself his own Father, and also asked himself to make everyone that follows him to turn into a single being.. which can not get more obvious that he did not mean what the trinitarians are teaching. While our Father YHWH, his Son Yahushua the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit may all work together as one, that does not mean they are all the same being. We get an example of many people being unified, in how the congregation is taught to be one body. Many members, but one body, which is the body of Messiah. We are all one, yet we are made up of many individual people and each of us have different gifts and tasks assigned to us, but we all work together as one to build up the one body. Even though me and you are members of the same body, you are not me, and I am not you. Even though we are one in the body of Messiah, we are not Messiah. Also, when a male and female marry, they become one, one flesh, however even though they are one, they are not 1 person controlling 2 bodies. Another example to note; 1 John 4:15 Whoever confesses that Yahushua is the Son of Elohim, Elohim abides in him, and he in Elohim So whoever confesses that Yahushua is the Son of YHWH, He abides in that person and that person abides in YHWH. So even though we have YHWH abiding in us, and we are abiding in YHWH, that does not mean we are YHWH right? That seems to be exactly the same kind of relationship Messiah has with his Father YHWH. Not to mention.. all of these verses clearly says that Messiah is the SON of YHWH.. What more really needs to be said if you know he is the son of YHWH? We all know that a child and its father are not the same person, even if they are amazingly similar and share almost all of the same characteristics. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ 2★ Another verse that trinitarians mistakenly use to teach Yahushua was YHWH his Father is John 8:58, but this mistake comes from English translations by 2 different ways. Here is John 8:58 worded the way most popular bibles have it; John 8:58 Yahushua said to them, Truly truly I say to you, before Abraham was, I am Which is a sentence that doesnt make sense and should be a red flag. Earlier in the English bible it translates אהיה as I AM, though I Am in the English Bibles is a mistranslation in itself and should say I will be, but anyway, from the English we read on through the Bible understanding YAHs name is I AM, which is how some people have developed this misconception. But looking into the Greek, the word used does indeed mean am and is translated to am nearly every time it is used(You can view how this word is translated here; blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G1510&t=KJV), but this Greek word can also mean a few other things such as was, exist, and have been. Going on the context the translation could read something like this; John 8:58 Yahushua said to them, Truly truly I say to you, before Abraham was, I was Which is a sentence that makes sense, and also we know he is the Word of YHWH which of course has been around before Abraham since all things were made through the Word. The verse from the Greek could also be translated as before Abraham came into existence, I existed More evidence for this being a translation error is the Aramaic version of John which literally says; John 8:58 Yahushua said to them, Truly truly I say to you that before Abraham existed, I was I will expand this misconception when I gather more information on it, however if the Messiah said I am, this does not mean he is his Father for certain. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★3 A simple misconception from some comes from the fact YHWH is called the LORD in the English translations of the old testament, and then Yahushua the Messiah is called the Lord in the new testament. The LORD is an intentional mistranslation and comes from men twisting the scriptures to cover up the set apart name YHWH, so this can not be used to prove they are the same person, many people are called Lord and Master in the scriptures. Lord and master are words with meanings, if you do not know this then you will miss the point of many scriptures. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★4 There are misconceptions which come from Philippians 2:5 and people think it clearly says that the Messiah was YHWH, here is the verse from a common English translation, I will first mention this is a mistranslation so beware; Philippians 2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in the Messiah Yahushua, Who being in the form of Elohim, thought it not robbery to be equal to Elohim, but did empty himself, the form of a servant having taken, in the likeness of men having been made, and in fashion having been found as a man, he humbled himself, having become obedient unto death, death even of a stake, wherefore also, Elohim did highly exalt him, and gave to him a name that is above every name, that in the name of Yahushua every knee may bow, of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth, and every tongue may confess that Yahushua Messiah is lord to the glory of Elohim the Father First off this particular section clearly shows the Messiah and his Father are two different beings since it says Elohim exalted him highly and also says that Elohim gave him a name above every name. Something interesting to ask yourself if you read the above English translation is if he was YHWH, then why would he even have to consider if it was robbery or not to be equal to YHWH our Elohim? This popular verse though is actually a mistranslation and should be rendered like this;; Philippians 2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in the Messiah Yahushua, who, although he existed in the form of elohim, did not regard equality with elohim a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men It should have been an obvious mistranslation to everyone because it says have this mind, and then says to be equal with elohim. This particular verse I am not certain if elohim used here is talking of YHWH or using the word elohim meaning mighty ones/heavenly beings. I will leave that up to you to decide. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★5 I am still exploring the evidence for this particular point, though what is presented here at least shows that what the trinitarians are saying is solid evidence to prove their theory as fact, is not solid. When Yahushua the Messiah is crucified and is pierced, it says he was pierced to fulfill the prophecy; John 19:37 For these things took place that the scripture might be fulfilled, Not one of his bones will be broken, And again another scripture says, They will look at him whom they have pierced” So we look back at the prophecy it seems to be speaking of which is in Zechariah 12:10, and it is YHWH talking and our English translations say; Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Yerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplications, and they shall look on me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn This is a very popular verse inside of modern Christianity since it is a prophecy for the Messiah and bears witness of him, and as well trinitarians proudly and aggressively quote this to convince others that Yahushua is YHWH our Father. Though for me personally I can see it as a possibility that YHWH saying they pierced him, even when they pierced Yahushua, is not a contradiction, since Yahushua was his son and was exactly like his Father YHWH, and the words that Yahushua spoke to everyone was the words of YHWH, and the works that Yahushua did was of and from YHWH, and they put him to death because of the things he said and did which came from YHWH, so indeed they were, in a way, piercing YHWH. Even though I see that as a possibility I do not know it for certain, so I will explore the verse deeper for evidence of mistranslation, to see if my thoughts are only because of the mistranslation. So first off, when not considering the possibility I mentioned above and just looking at this verse for what it says, the sentence doesnt exactly make sense because it looks like he is talking about himself but then he says they shall mourn for HIM talking about someone that is not him. Modern Hebrew speakers say(or claim) that they have a hard time knowing what is actually said at this spot because there is a weird word for the Tanakh with different possible meanings, all of the sources of information we have to use such as Strongs dictionary totally avoid this section as if it does not exist! Hebrew speakers say that this word they are claiming to have trouble with only appears in the scriptures one time, which is odd if you think about it in itself.. Many English Tanakhs translated by those in Judaism say something totally different at this verse, but I really think in some of those cases they are corrupting the text for the sake of keeping peoples minds off of associated anything with Yahushua the Messiah, so I cautiously go over their words. At John 19:37 it is quoting the verse at Zechariah 12:10, and it says and they shall look on HIM whom they have pierced, which is a sentence that makes sense, and also says that the Messiah is not YHWH his Father, but then we have to wonder if he was quoting exactly, which I can not confirm at this moment so this evidence is not solid. Through some research with Hebrew dictionaries, I have seen from one source that this verse could actually be translated as They shall look to whom they have pierced and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, though I can not confirm this to be the true translation at this moment either. The word which has everyone baffled is interestingly spelled אלי which many will recognize to say Eli, and when I first got out my Hebrew Tanakh and went over this verse, I was trying to ignore the vowel points and I for a moment read this word as Eli. I am also looking into the possibilities with this and the implications. They say that word at Zecharian 12:10 only appears once in the Bible yet the word Eli appears many times in names, and is most well known at Psalms 22:1 where in Hebrew it says Eli, Eli, why have you forsaken me?, and it is translated to My Elohim, My Elohim, Why have you forsaken me? So what they are really saying is they want אלי to not say Eli so it must be a different word, which is why this strange word only appears once in the Bible.. Which this could get deep, and I will explore this more in time. I will share this just to show you what we are dealing with on this verse; Here is a man who personally goes over this verse and comes to a conclusion that it should be translated to and they will look toward me about who they pierced, which is a sentence that does not say YAH is the one who is pierced, and he shows how he got to that conclusion.. even though I personally am not certain with his rendition. Though his translation does not seem to match up with what is said at John 19:37; youtube/watch?v=X4HezBaSlSs&feature=BFa&list=ULm_lPsWY5jPg ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★6 NEED REWORKED. Titus 2:13 is another verse which is used by trinitarians to say the anointed Yahushua of Nazareth is really YHWH our Father, while there is some slight misconception involved here, this is mainly due to English mistranslations. Here is what the verse literally says from the Greek document; Titus 2:13 Awaiting the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of the great Elohim and Savior of us, Yahushua the Messiah Now there are a few different translations in the English of this but the error they cause is the same. The truth is we are waiting for the appearing of the glory of YHWH, and some translators by using different wording have made this verse say we are waiting for the appearing of YHWH our Elohim himself. The Greek document makes it clear we are waiting for the glory of YHWH, and Yahushua the Messiah is that hope and glory according to this verse. Many English translators even use punctuation(a comma specifically) to lead us to read the verse as if it is calling Yahushua our great Elohim and savior whom we are awaiting for the appearing of. Punctuation was not on the Hebrew original documents, and I am not sure if Greek used to be without punctuation, and neither am I sure what language Paul wrote this letter to Titus in, but the document which our translations come from appear to have punctuation and it separates with commas correctly as I have done in the above correct translation. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★7 There is a word used in certain Aramaic versions of the new testament that some are developing a misconception from, the word is the one that they have chosen to use for lord/master. The word used in these Aramaic texts for lord/master is marya(spelled מריא in the Aramaic), and many interpret this to really be saying mar-YAH, meaning in Aramaic lord YAH. So those who think it really says lord YAH read the scriptures much differently than those who simply read from our modern versions that we have, an example is when Paul said this; Paul; 1 Corinthians 12:3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of Elohim ever says Yahushua is accursed! And no one can say Yahushua is Master except in the set apart spirit Those who replace lord/master with lord YAH, read the above verse to say something like; And no one can say Yahushua is lord YAH except in the set apart spirit Which is something totally different! This reading implies that if you do not confess that Yahushua the Messiah is his own Father YAH, then you do not have the set apart spirit.. And as well some would go as far to say you are not a true christian but a false christian if you do not confess this.. All of the modern dictionaries, and scholars teach that marya does not really mean lord YAH, however they are indeed often wrong. Once again, if we look at the scriptures as a whole, which I have compiled many verses on this site, then we see the Messiah is not his Father, and if the text should really read lord YAH that would confuse the text and create many contradictions, so from looking at the scriptures as a whole we see the evidence that mar-YAH is wrong. Next we can look at all of the places marya is used and see if it would not make sense to interpret it as saying lord YAH. Also we may could look for instances where people call the Messiah marya and it is evident they are not in the set apart spirit contradicting the above interpretation of Pauls words, though I will not waste time on that. (I will work on this point further in time, adding to it when I discover more scriptures) A scripture I found that really convinced me that marYAH was a false assumption; Matthew 22:41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Yahushua asked them a question saying, What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?, They said to him, The son of David, He said to them, How is it then that David in the Spirit calls him lord saying, ‘YHWH said to my lord sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet’?, If then David calls him lord, how is he his son?, And no one was able to answer him a word, nor from that day did anyone dare to ask him any more questions Here is an example of master/lord being used, and we can trace back to what he was quoting in the Hebrew scriptures and see the word was indeed only lord. Surely if he misquoted the scripture the Pharisees would have said something, and Yah said to Yah does not make sense. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★8 A foundation stone in trinity misconceptions is from John 1:1, this misconception is went over on page 4, view it there. The key knowledge to this misconception is that the Greek document shows 2 separate beings more clearly than the English, and also has evidence it should be rendered and the Word was a(n) elohim, and as well ancient translations such as the Coptic have shown they indeed rendered it that way. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★9 There is a trinity misconception born from the fact that the Messiah is the one who will judge us, some say since he is our judge this shows he is YAH. However the Messiah is going to judge us by YAHs standards so it is still YAH judging us, and the scriptures clearly say that the Messiah was appointed by YAH to be judge, easily showing that they are two different people. Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by Elohim to be judge of the living and the dead Psalm 110:1 A psalm of David. YHWH said to my lord, Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet, YHWH will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, you will rule in the midst of your enemies, Your troops will be willing on your day of battle arrayed in holy majesty, from the womb of the dawn you will receive the dew of your youth, YHWH has sworn and will not change his mind, You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. The lord is at your right hand, he will crush kings on the day of his wrath, He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth John 5:30 I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous, because I seek not my own will, but the will of him who sent me Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by Elohim to be judge of the living and the dead Acts 17:31 because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead” Isaiah 42:1 Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight, I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring judgment to the nations, He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets, A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, In faithfulness he will bring forth judgment, he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes judgment on earth, In his law the islands will put their hope. Malachi 3:1 See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple, the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come, says YHWH Almighty, But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiners fire or a launderers soap, He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver, Then YHWH will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness Paul; 2 Timothy 4:1 I fully testify to you before Elohim, and the lord Yahushua the Messiah who is about to judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his reign, preach the word, be ready in season and out of season, convict, rebuke, and exhort, in long-suffering and teaching ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★10 Some people try to prove their trinity theory with the word Elohim, which is a plural form Hebrew word. While it is a plural form word, it can be either singular or plural grammatically and you can tell when it is singular or plural by the form of the words surrounding elohim in a sentence. In Hebrew all the words in the sentence take on a plural form if it is talking about something that is truly plural, for a simple example.. Here is a singular example and notice how red is also singular; Hachatul(the cat) adom(red) Here is a plural example, now notice how red has also taken on a plural form; Hachatulim(the cats) adomim (reds). There are many plural form words that are really singular, one great example from the scriptures is Behemoth which is a giant land animal YHWH created, and its form is feminine plural, but it is talking about a single creature when used in the scriptures. Some say the plural form expresses greatness. When Elohim is used talking about YHWH our creator then it is always Singular. There is never any confusion for a Hebrew reader because Genesis 1:1, the absolute beginning of the Tanakh, shows our creator is Singular, only one Elohim. The first 3 words at Genesis 1:1 Brashit(in a beginning) bara(created) Elohim(elohim) Translated to English that says In a beginning Elohim created If Elohim was plural then the verb bara(created) would have also been plural, but it is not. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ★11 I have this particular point under progress. There is another point which trinitarians bring up to prove that their trinity theory is true without a doubt, and that is our English texts tell us people worshipped Yahushua the Messiah, so they ask why would he let people worship him if he was not YHWH. I think our modern world view of the meaning of worship and the proper etiquette for worship is misunderstood. Shacha(שחה) is the Hebrew word that our English bibles translates to worship, its meaning is to bow or fall down. It is translated to worship in the old testament of the KJV 99 times, to bow 31 times, to bow down 18 times, obeisance 9 times, reverence 5 times, fall down 3 times, themselves 2 times, stoop 1 time, crouch 1 time. I will show some interesting scriptures on this subject now. Here is a scripture where a woman worships the king; 2 Samuel 14:4 And when the woman of Tekoah spoke to the king, she fell on her face to the ground, and she worshipped and said, Help O king Here is another scripture where YAHs people worship him AND king David; 1 Chronicles 29:20 And David said to all the congregation, Now bless YHWH your Elohim, And all the congregation blessed YHWH Elohim of their fathers, and bowed down their heads and worshipped YHWH and the king Here is a scripture from the psalms seemingly saying to worship the king, and possibly as well enlightening us showing we worship our lord/master; Psalm 45:11 So shall the king greatly desire your beauty, since he is your Lord, worship him ...; Revelation 3:9 Behold I will make them of the synagogue of the Satan which say they are Yahudim and are not, but do lie, behold I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you This verse is the very one that inspired the name of this website, when I first read the Bible I thought this was about YHWH but was not sure, some think this was Yahushua the son of YHWH, and some others even think it was a high ranking angel, so I am going to include it in case it was a being other than YAH and his son, the scripture says Joshua worships him; Joshua 5:14 And it came to pass when Joshua was by Yericho that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, Are you for us or for our adversaries? And he said, No but as captain of the host of YHWH am I now come, And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and did worship and said to him, What said my Lord to his servant? And the captain of the host of YHWH said to Joshua, Loose your shoe from off your foot for the place where on you stand is set apart, And Joshua did so
