Twenty-five things you might not have known, mostly about me: 1. I love talking about myself, and I love memes that give me an excuse to do so. 2. No one gave me this number, but several of my friends have posted these so I figured Id hop on board. 3. I get meta about things almost immediately. 4. Some of these facts are about me, but some of them are about the list itself. Others are wild cards. 5. Im a big believer in the Law of Fives. Principia Discordia, page 00016: The Law of Fives states simply that: All things happen in fives, or are divisible by or are multiples of five, or are somehow directly or indirectly appropriate to 5. The Law of Fives is never wrong. 6. Twenty-five is five squared. 7. Hail Eris! 8. I love almost everything about my life, but depending on what kind of mood I was in the last time you saw me in person this might not be obvious. 9. While Im a big fan of social justice, Ive been a bit of a slacktivist these past few years. 10. Number 9 bothers me even when I pretend it doesnt. 11. I knew next to nothing about any kind of fashion outside of mens business/formalwear (i.e. suits) until about a year ago. 12. Ive been mildly obsessed with high-end denim lately, but I dont feel like I know enough to talk about it with people who are into it yet. 13. I dont believe in lucky or unlucky numbers. 14. The Law of Fives transcends the concept of luck. The Law of Fives just is. 1+4 = 5. 15. Yoga is one of my favorite things in the universe, but I dont do it often enough. Google akrasia. 16. The same thing was true about writing for a while, which is why Im so happy to be writing all the time again. 17. You didnt Google it, did you? Pedantry is a bad habit of mine, but I try to be cute about it. 19. Singing feels so good to me that its a shame Im not better at it. 20. When I was in high school I talked idly with some of the guys about going out for cheerleading. Im not sure if anyone actually went through with it, but I didnt and I wish I had. 21. Much as I love my smartphone, I function much better as a human being when I use it strictly for calls and texts. 22. Im still pretty sure that with some custom scripting I can get much more out of it, though. Im not sure if this is a silly thought. 23. The real history of the 23 enigma is much more interesting than the Jim Carrey movie based around it. 2+3 = 5. 24. Im pretty sure you can be a Discordian and a Zen Buddhist at the same time, right? 25. Im so excited about my plans for the near future that Im dying to gush about them to all of you, but I have a lot of research to do before I start doing that in public. And for someone who says he hates to tease, I sure do seem to keep doing it, huh? Like this and Ill give you a number, then you do one! I think thats how this works, right?
