Two wrongs dont make a right so why are people saying Andrew Mitchel the former No10 insider fired over the pleb-gate affair should be given his job back? Yes it dose appear that several senior members of the police federation have done something wrong and it seems right to me that action should be taken over that but that still dose not change the fact that Mitchell himself admits swearing at a police officer who would not let him use the main gate and threatening to have him removed from his job. thats before you even get to the question of weather he called anyone a Pleb or not. Something the officer in question recorded immediately in a report on the incident that he wrote apparently before the police federation were aware of the situation and before any plot could have been hatched. The bits Mitchell admits to alone would be enough to see most of us inside a police cell. add to this that he has proven himself duplicitous by secretly recording his meetings. Dose he do this with everyone? Is that even leagle. what other recordings of who has he got? Either way is this a man fit for government?
