U know it would break my heart to see if Tina and Paul would get their TV reality show because the production companies that I pitched, have said, I dont think people would watch your show because of sign language. It would be distracted. Who would look up to a person who cant hear and speak? people would not dumb down and get inspired by a disabled person. Rejection after rejection because of American Sign Language and me being Deaf. Now heres Tina and Paul as hearing people possibly have their own tv reality show and they use sign language that they are not fluent in. Ouch! I felt like to go back to these production companies and scream out of my lungs until their ears become deaf. But know what? Nah! Rejection is a part of process for succeeding your goal. I just keep going and do my best to sell my show to production companies and executives. I have a key with me. I just need to find a right door to open and to get my show in... I believe in my show/blog/business 100 percents. I know one day.. It will!!! Just be patience and do my best! Through this journey, it has taught me so much. I love my life and me more than ever. I appreciate people more. I have become more patience, understanding and compassionate through this journey. With different experiences and challenges in this journey do open my eyes. Things do get better. Just believe in it. It will come. Be determined and be persistent. Now I wish good luck to Tina and Paul if the got their own TV reality show. Now I shall soar to success with my show/blog/entrepreneurship. Deaf people can do anything and hearing people will love us and enjoy us. Its about old school people who has power for decision making, they have carried misinformation or misconception about Deaf people that we face as today. More and more young hearing people are open mind because they took class at high schools or college. Knowledge is power. Just that many of them are not in higher level that make decisions just yet. just dont give up and we as Deaf people will prevail!
