UPDATE ON MAX our sweet foster dog, Good News/Bad News: This has been an eventful week for Max. Bad news was he injured his leg. He got some kinds of foreign body lodged in it most likely by slamming into something while chasing squirrels. He his limping, but on meds and healing. Good News is that his training with Laura Konet of Passionate For Pups is really working for him! (Went through her 6 week Canines with Manners class and private training sessions as well). We were able to take him to the vets office with no issues at all! You would never know that he was a dog in training! We couldnt have been prouder. He walked past other dogs and people completely relaxed and focused on us. Everyone that met him loved him. We entered with the muzzle and actually were able to leave without it. We are so happy for him because we know that he is one step closer to finding his forever home. This leads me to his last major event in his life. SAPA, after getting updates on his progress and a write up from Laura, has approved the beginning of his adoption process. He still has a lot of training to go through but we will be able to start marketing him now and searching for his perfect humans!!! Happy days for Max!
