He will tolerate other people but not interact so much. He does well with Female Dogs but is Selective with Male Dogs. **MUST READ IMPORTANT INFO**Two bite/snap incidences**The first time he bit, he bit a 12 or 13 year old girl in the nose and cheek. Ares was sitting in the yard and the girl came up to Ares and pretty much squared off on him face to face. I saw that Ares was kind of uncomfortable by his body language and started walking towards them. Before I was able to get there the girl stumbled forward, her long hair went into Ares face and while she was falling she grabbed Ares ears to catch herself from falling more. As soon as she grabbed his ears and put her falling weight (yanking on them) towards his tail, he lunged forward and bit her. As soon as he bit he turned and ran to the house and didnt pursue to bite anymore. The second time he bit I didnt observe it. I lived in military housing at the time. He was in the back yard (fenced in). A maintenance man came over to work on my house because squirrels were getting into my attic. After he did some work in the front of the house and inside the house he said he was going to walk around back to ensure there wasnt any holes that the squirrels could get into. I informed him the my dog was in the back yard and not to reach over the fence and to just ignore Ares and Ares will ignore him. He went on to do what he was doing and I went inside. The next day the maintenance man called me to inform me while he was walking around the fence Ares was following him. He said he didnt think Ares seemed threatening so he reached through the fence to pet him and Ares bit the end of his finger. My dog is great with my family. Responds well to my wife and loves my 5 and 4 year old daughter. He is very well trained in obedience, on and off leash. He is fine when we have family and friends over but he doesnt look for attention from them. Hed rather be on his bed that get attention from strangers. He loves to be outside and run, would do great on a farm. My parents are up north and live on a farm. He has no issues with farm animals. Gets long great with female dogs. Male dogs are hit or miss due to him being attacked by a large male dog when he was a little younger than a year old.
