Umeme should continue operating because its making profits, why should you close a company that is making profits? Andrew Mwenda Now sir, thats the very reason why it should have its contract terminated, Umeme is making profits by reaping Ugandans day and night, how come Uganda supplies power to Rwanda and Kenya and then consumers in these two countries pay less for power than Ugandan consumers? U do not hike electricity tarrifs and then come out bragging mbu we are making profits....
