Update on Baby #3 I probably shouldve done this a while ago, but better late than never I guess:/ We have been told by our doctors that this baby probably has Down Syndrome. They started to suspect something at the ultrasound done at 12 weeks, but we decided not to have the amniocentesis done due to the high risk of miscarriage. There was, however, a blood test they could do where they took some blood from me and isolated the babys DNA that was in my blood-this test could not provide a diagnosis, but it did come back as high risk (97%) for Down Syndrome. We know that God made this baby and that He makes no mistakes, and we are so thankful that all tests have shown that the baby is healthy and growing like it should be. If you would like to pray for us, we would ask that instead of praying for the baby not to have Down Syndrome, that you would pray that God is glorified through this baby-whether or not it has Down Syndrome. Also, that God would be glorified in our response with the medical staff and others that we will meet. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Ps. 139:13-14
