VA Seeks Veterans’ Stories for Honor Display Board OMAHA, Neb., July 1, 2013 — Veterans have many incredible stories of military service. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is asking Veterans to share small glimpses of their military service with others to be displayed at the VA Outreach Clinic in O’Neill, Neb. A Veterans Honor Display Board is being placed in the clinic lobby at 555 E. St. John St, O’Neill. The board will include short synopses of Veterans’ individual military stories along with a photograph of the individual at some point during his or her military service. The goal is to celebrate the Veterans who have selflessly served in the U.S. armed forces by displaying their contributed military service stories. Veterans who wish to share their story and photo can stop by the VA Outreach Clinic in O’Neill Mondays to Fridays between 8 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4:30 p.m. and pick up a submission form. A dedication event is planned once the clinic receives a number of stories and photographs to post at the clinic.
