Very well done to all our local NPS Area 32 (NI) supporters who did so well at the Horse of the Year Show this year. It was a year of 2nds for some very lucky local competitors and breeders! The week started when Ballynacoy Prince was 2nd in the M&M Welsh Section D Ridden final ridden by Fiona Cork. This pony was bred by James Curran, Ballynacoy Stud. Clive Johnstons Small Intermediate Show Riding Type pony, Anton Little Astair, was then also 2nd with Ailsa Vines on board. Elaine Sherrard had bred 2 ponies that had qualified for the 133cms Show Hunter Pony final. Parkhill Beckham was 2nd in this class (for the 2nd year in a row) - with brother, Parkhill Ronaldo, 4th in the same class. Coincidentally, Ailsa Vines has also had great success with another Parkhill pony, Parkhill Cantona, when she won this 133cms SHP class at HOYS previously! Connor McCormick was 10th in the Cuddy In-Hand Supreme final with Brookvale Lavender Lady. Well done everyone!
