Via Lorie Meacham Lorie I agree, the police reaction is really screwed up - Black Lives Matter is a peaceful nonviolent movement - it message is violence is not a solution all lives matter and since Black Lives are the ones in jeopardy - Remember if all lives matter then Black Lives Matter should be up front and center. If all lives matter then cops lives matter too but they are not and should not be front center because they continue to denigrate the movement, connect dots of blame that have no connection have just called for a war on -implied - the Nonviolent Black Lives Matter Movement. That is a threat of increased violence an is inappropriate coming from a police union representative. He should be fired or impeached from serving as Union representative. These kinds hyperbolic rhetoric are meant to misdirect , confuse and create a lynch mob mentality of misplaced revenge. It is this poor behavior and a history of police arrogance and abuse of power that is losing them the public trust. The police need a deep introspection of their policies and culture and must wake up to the fact they work for us and are sworn in to protect and serve the Public and that includes all of us.
