W.R.H.S. 75th Anniversary OPEN HOUSE, Sat. April 12, 2014 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Hi - I am John Fenrich, class of 65, and I am heading up the Show and Shine Car & Bike Show for the 75th Anniversary of WRHS coming up next April. I am contacting as many of the groups that I can to see if I can get a ballpark idea of how many `WRHS Community would like to show off their cars and motorcycles (and even bicycles). We have to know how many may participate so we can figure out where we can display them. The Show would be at the Open House on April 12, 2014 at WRHS. I would also like to see if we can get some live entertainment. if you know of a free band that could set up and play some sets between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., let me know. This is to support the WRHS Foundation. we are not going to ask for any entry fee for the vehicles, but we will put cans at each entry so we can get donations for the Foundation. There will be one trophy, Best of Show, and the winner will be decided by which car gets the most $ in the can. I did this a couple of years ago for the reunion of the Class of 65 and we had about 20 cars in the quad. I think we will have a lot more for the 75th, so we can use the parking lot of the Annex, and if we have more cars, we will work something out. I just need an idea from you as to how many of the WRHS Community might participate. My plan is to communicate through you and the WRHS Foundation website with a sign-up form and a deadline a month before the event. willrogersfoundation.net . Also, we could use some LOCAL SPONSORS, such as car dealers, auto detailers, anyone that is related to cars or motorcycles who would like to help out... just give me some names and contacts and I can take it from there.
