WE HAVE THE VICTORY IN JESUS Ps 23: The LORD is my shepherd; I have everything I need [Lwill lack nothing]. 2 He lets me rest [makes me lie down] in green pastures. He leads me to calm [quiet] water. 3 He gives me new strength [Trenews my soul]. He leads me on paths that are right [righteous; or straight] for the good [sake] of his name [reputation]. 4 Even if I walk through a very dark valley [or the shadow of death], I will not be afraid [Tfear no evil], because you are with me. As we walk through valley where the shadow of death is located we have a tendency look at the size of death’s shadow and the size of our problem and to be afraid because it looks bigger than we see ourselves. But instead of paying attention to them we need to look at the size of our God. Remember this that death and all of our problems are looking at us and not only us but they are also looking at our shepherd Lord Jesus Christ who is bigger than death and our problems they are afraid of our shepherd not only because of his size but because he already defeated sin, death and the grave and all the other problems in our lives we have the victory in Jesus. 1 Cor 15 54 So when this body that can be destroyed [is perishable/corruptible] will clothe itself with that which can never be destroyed [is imperishable/incorruptible], and this body that dies [Lmortal] will clothe itself with that which can never die [immortality], then this Scripture will be made true [come to pass]: “Death is destroyed forever [Lswallowed up] in victory].” 55 “[LO] Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your pain [Lsting;]?” 56 Death’s power to hurt [Lsting] is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But we thank God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
