** WESTERN AUSTRALIA DEEP TROUGH STORMS UPDATE ** Some good falls across parts of Western Australia the past 24 hours. here is some of the rainfall figures in the second map (Provided by MetEye) showing in numbers in millimetres thats fallen, some healthy falls about southern parts of the state and also about the Pilbara where 46mm fell in Barimunya in the Pilbara. Some nice falls as a result of these showers and thunderstorms from this deep trough. Here are a few more totals we will put up, Parts of the Kimberley district also had some decent totals. Curtin 27mm Kalumburu 24mm Fortescue Dave Forrest 14mm Paraburdoo 12mm Leonora AP 10mm Lake Grace 17mm Kalgoorlie 10mm Showers and storms are continuing in far southern parts at the moment, this will continue to track further east today as the trough moves east slowly however there is a slight chance Perth may still see a storm around town this afternoon as some instability hangs back but IF any activity does develop it will be well east of the city.
