WOW! This is put together by an artist who is a lucid dreamer.....epic!! Dreams Before Dawn Most people know the chance for lucid dreams are best early in the morning. As I mentioned before I have set out to make my lucid experiences something others will be able to appreciate, at least more than reading about it, by putting it into via virtual reality. I have the Oculus Rift for over a week now, but I have been working on this project for a number of weeks. The biggest challenge is getting the frame rate high enough to be fully immersed. I only manage between thirty and sixty on a high powered PC. To compensate I am taking people on a slow floating guided journey. When I first tested it I have to say I was quite taken. Suddenly what is tiny on my 27 inch monitor becomes 200 meters tall, like the cave stalagmites, unbelievable. There are still plenty of issues with the tech and I wouldnt advise people to rush out yet to buy one. It is still clunky and rough around the edges, many will be disappointed. I imagine in one or two years from now it will all be different and quite enjoyable. This will give me enough time to polish it and to make it much better. The Virtual Reality journey will last half an hour. The final will have four parts, but a least it gives an idea of the feeling.
