WOW, WHAT AN EVENTFUL WEEK!! Belmore really was an amazing place, to be at over the last week. The sense of excitement, happiness and most importantly UNITY! was one, that left many in awe! Even though the bulldogs lost, to the victorious South Sydney (congratulations), the partying and joy in Belmore still continued. So, here is a question, posed to all Christians.. How often do we show enthusiasm towards Christ? When you think about it, Easter is the greatest day you could imagine. Death was destroyed! We are able to enjoy salvation in heaven forever!! As if you wouldnt want to get excited about that!. (Not saying we need to be dancing in the streets all week), but even if it was just posting all these nice posts on FB and explaining to our children what is happening, it would be soo much nicer (and beneficial). And just as many people gathered, from different cultures and religious beliefs in Belmore to cheer and take part in the celebrations, so should we at church, as we are one body of Christ! The ecstasy of a football game is only temporary, but that of Christ is eternal! As we congratulate our respective teams, lets just try and set an aim in our spiritual lives this week... How can i show a bit more enthusiasm to God? Congrats to both teams :)
