Wardens of the Forge (Divine Champions of Hephaestus) Craftsmen of great devotion or clerics of exceeding wisdom may feel the call to become a Warden of the Forge; a protector of the Fires of Creation. Little is known of their rites or rituals, but their power and devotion are unquestioned. When a smithy or house of craft is threatened or the artisans that fuel the march of civilization are attacked, the Wardens of the Forge cast aside their humble exteriors and emerge as shining warriors infused with the spirit of Fire. With the speed and fury of a volcanic eruption, the enemies of the forge are struck down. When the threat has passed, they return to their anvils, forges and looms, and disappear into the background once more.
