Warning: Everything will cost five times more by December! +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ At least thats what a friend told me on May 29, 2013. He made a special phone call just to tell me. Because there was such an urgency in his voice, i decided to write it down in my log that day. [name edited] warned me about a cataclysm that will result in prices being five times higher for everything by December. Recommended moving to an other country. Ive decided to interpret this differently, and take it as a personal warning, not as a national warning. Just means be careful what i do. Well, the prophecy came true, but not at all like i expected. You see, there was an investment opportunity that i knew about in May. As far back as April i had woke up to this opportunity, got excited after doing research, and set about raising funds all summer to be able to invest in it. But somehow, i fell back to sleep, distracted by all the activity required to raise funds through labor (carpentry). I did not take action, and on October 1st the train left the station without me. By November the value of the asset reached 5x (yes five times) its summer time value. When this happened i was devastated. Yes, it felt like a catastrophe. Technically speaking, i could have had five times as much buying power by December. Thats how my friends prophecy came true. I was even given one more warning. In early October, that same friend made another urgent phone call advising me to exchange all my US currency for Canadian currency ahead of the government shut-down. He said he was going to Canada to deposit/exchange all his Federal Reserve Notes for loonies, or whatever it is they call it up there. I said, Or, you could put it all into Bitcoin. He said, Yah, but how you going to get it back out? Well, i let him do his thing, and i did mine...NOTHING. Suddenly, Bitcoin doubled, then doubled again, and a bit more for good measure! I watched it for about an hour as it reached its peak, each tick upward feeling like a knife thrust into my stomach. Anyway, i want to thank my friend for caring about my welfare. Even though his asset class (what he valued most) was misguided, the timing was perfect for a completely other opportunity, and i was given fair warning to DO WHAT I KNEW BEST. Having not done what i knew best, i feel it as an actual loss (the term is opportunity cost), and its nobodys fault but mine. Moral of the story: Believing in Christ! is a lot like investing. You do your fundamental analysis, and then you put your money where your mouth is. Or, you fall back to sleep, distracted by all the activity (toiling) required to make a living. Christ! is the most undervalued asset in the world, having the highest value possible. Most people care about your welfare, but people hardly ever advise their friends to invest in Christ! as Self. They may not know it, or they may not value it, but I KNOW BETTER, knowing whats in my best interest. A lot of the time i am distracted from making regular deposits into this kind of asset class (Christ!). Despite that, im going renew my efforts to stay vigilant (awake), so that i do not feel like what i felt like when the true value of Bitcoin was recognized by more of the masses. I was proud to be an early adopter of Bitcoin, at least intellectually (not with my wallet) and even became a part-time Bitcoin evangelist among my friends, because i care about their welfare. Even though Bitcoin is a no-brainer, it always amazes me how people, having not done any due diligence, can make negative judgments about the properties of the worlds first crypto currency, and brush it off as worthless. Likewise, people make judgments about Christ, talking the value of Christ down to near zero despite Christs inherently valuable properties. Indeed, Bitcoin has been called a cyber Christ, ready and able to save the worlds economies. With this, i agree. A simple mathematical algorithm can easily outperform any money currently subject to the manipulations of man. So to all my friends, because i care about your welfare, i recommend storing the current value of your Federal Reserve Notes (they are worth less each day) into an asset class (like Bitcoin) that gains value every time the masses wake up to its inherent value. I have to coin a new term practical parable. Investing in Bitcoin is practical, but its also a parable. The best investment of all is whatever it takes to awaken to the value of Christ as Self! As you do your fundamental research on this topic, you should see the true value rising, even if everybody else is currently blind to the true value. You cant measure the value of Christ by a popularity contest, as if the masses understood what is true value. Naysayers will say ney but, if you are like me, you wont listen to anyone who does not claim to be Christ! Advisers will advise, but my question always, is: *Who do you say you are?* , or, *What do you claim to be?* If the answer is not Christ, then i am not obliged to listen whenever they recommend an asset class, such as the bible. The timing is right. The sense of urgency is right. But the asset class is worthless. Investing in Bitcoin is easy compared to investing in Christ as Self. The value of Bitcoin will be revealed to the masses sooner than the value of Christ. Bitcoin has enough power to bring every bank to its knees. For this reason, Bitcoin will set many millions of minions free from fractional-reserve fraud and dollar debasement. The value of Christ will not be revealed to the masses till the end of the world. This is a cryptic expression. What it really means is that when the inherent worth of Christ is really valued, that which has no intrinsic value will also be revealed...will be revealed as NOTHING. At that point the worthless (world) will disappear back to the empty void from which is sprang. Likewise, when Bitcoin is properly valued by the masses, the good money will drive out the bad, overturning the tables of the money-changers. Be... Still
