(Watch in HD) I must say Tonights class is leaving me w/ a huge smile!! The stars really aligned for this one. First, one of our regulars made a special request for this particular song.. i took it as a chance to do something unconventional for Lockin class being that it is slower than ppl generally want to lock to. As i got to know the song I started having visions of what I want to come to life w/ the music. Second, Alan Watson informed me a couple hours before class that I would be flying solo for the night cuz he would not be able to make it. Third, i created a routine w/ 13 ppl as a template... THEN.... 13 people came to class!!!! And i got to utilize them all!!! (normally the class would be split btwn me and Alan). This is really the first time ive had the chance to make one of my visions come to life as far as a dynamic group lockin routine, so THANK YOU to the class for their consistently awesome energy and allowing my creative juices to flow! For the first part of the class we went over foundation, played with party dance moves and freestyle. We pulled this together and the students were able to get it down in less than an hour. Vibing and feeling the moves were the highlights of tonights class. Enjoy!
