We are excited to be able to offer a tax deduction for Friends of the Phoenix who want to support the development of the ceramic arts in our community at Phoenix Fired Art through the Joplin Chamber of Commerce Foundation (JACCF) You can provide scholarships for a full session pottery class to a deserving person ($150-200) or sponsor a hardworking but underpaid artist for a month of Open Studio ($100-150)? or help them attend a specialty workshop ($150-240). *We have several very deserving artists and current and former students who would love to take the upcoming John Britt workshop but cant afford it. Your Donation can buy some clay for a local school and give them the chance for them to come to Phoenix for a field trip. We can use corporate sponsorship for our Empty Bowls event each November. Please make your checks out to JACCF and indicate in the memo line Friends of the Phoenix if you would like to give undesignated funds. Indicate Friends of the Phoenix: Scholarship Fund; Friends of the Phoenix: Empty Bowl Sponsorship. Any amount is welcome and will help us continue igniting the creativity of people of all ages with positive hands-on experiences in clay.
