We are feeling rather cross (I am being polite! )... we were short listed for the bungalow we bid for... after a phone call today; we were told we can no longer bid in that area as we have no connection... we have been told the same thing at Hornsea, Withernsea, right up the East coast and as far down as Lincolnshire... I am certainly no racist and neither is Steve... but we feel we have a point in saying this. WE HAVE NO CONNECTION TO HULL EITHER, YET WE ARE AWARE FOREIGNERS ARE COMING IN DROVES AND BEING GIVEN HOUSING WITHOUT CONNECTION. Apparenty, councils and HAs have a duty to give equal rights... I want to know where our equal rights have now gone, after being told that this morning we are no longer eligible to bid without any connection to the place! we are not racist... we are RESENTFUL!
