We are now home but just wanted to say a special thanks for the work you did to make our Europe holiday such a success. I can say that absolutely nothing went wrong at all which is a credit to you and the care you took to get it all together for us. Some specific feedback : • The Insight tours are every bit as good as they are “cracked up” to be. Ours really was first class, the quality was high which is what we wanted and the tour leader really was good. Two things I would say though. Insight persist in booking all hotels as twin. This caused nightmares for our tour director as he battled at every single location to try to get double rooms. I really don’t understand that when you book so far in advance. Secondly, its true! The tours are all made up of older people. We were the youngest by quite a bit. I would caution anyone under 50 on this Don’t get me wrong…… I would give Insight 9 out of 10 insightvacations/nz • All the hotels you booked for us were great. The little hotel in Paris ( Dauphine) was worth special mention. Fantastic location, great staff and very nice rooms and we would highly recommend. The Marriot in Amsterdam was probably the best and the Holiday Inn at Reims the lower end. Not bad by any stretch of the imagination and a very sound more ”budget” option that I would still recommend. • Trains were all good and easy to use • Transfers were all early and waiting for us with courteous staff Overall a great experience and well done to Stephen Parsons House of Travel Palmerston North
