We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting another informational seminar about Cogmed Working Memory Training on October 21st! Working memory impacts academic and social performance and is one of the best predictors of academic achievement! Students who struggle with math or reading comprehension; organization; staying focused; behavior; or who have been diagnosed with ADHD and/or a learning disability, may be experiencing a working memory problem. Cogmed Working Memory Training is designed to improve working memory through several weeks of intensive and systematic training. Kimberly Palmer, LCSW-R, and Dr. Eileen Rafferty, PsyD, are Cogmed-trained coaches who will work with clients individually throughout the course. Come find out more about this breakthrough program at our seminar on Tuesday, October 21st, at 7:30pm! Light refreshments will be served. To ensure we have enough seating at the seminar, kindly call the Health and Wellness Counseling Center at 845 496 1025 to let us know you are planning to attend! Thank you!
