We have decided to get out and about more and have booked the CWA rooms in Ballina on a permanent basis, dates are as follows: Tuesday 9th July 1-4pm Tuesday 6th August 1-4pm Tuesday 3rd September 1-4pm Tuesday 8th October 1-4pm Tuesday 12 November 1-4pm Tuesday 3rd December 1-4pm Classes will be about the $20 mark and will need to be booked a week before so I can have kits available. The request has been for Christmas cards in July – so that will be the theme. I can remind you each month and let you know costs then as well. Owen & I will also be at Mullumbimby Craft Show on Saturday 22nd June from 9-3pm at the High School Auditorium. We will be showcasing Kaszazz there as well and will be having a FREE Mega Make and Take at the CWA Rooms in Tincogan Street Mullumbimby on Tuesday 2nd July 1-4pm. You are all welcome but bookings are essential at least a week before. We are hoping to make that a permanent booking also. So will keep you informed. If you are feeling left out, as places or dates don’t suit, then please contact us. We would love to come to a site near you. I have been trying to source the local CWA rooms in each of our areas but some are not in telephone books, or maybe don’t exist. They are a good clean venue and not overly expensive to rent and we love to help them out if we can. So if you know who your local contact is then let us know and we can organise something in your area. Lastly, we are also at the Marine Rescue Art and Craft Fair at the Richmond Rooms in Ballina near the Maritime Museum and behind the Library on the weekend of 28-30th June. Friday night is the Official Opening and cost will be $10 for nibbles and drinks. There will be art works for sale, as well as unique and upcycled jewellery, clothing accessories and cards. Although we are not selling Kaszazz there we will be selling cards. This is a worthwhile fundraiser for Marine Rescue to help build their new Tower and replace the rescue boat lost a few weeks ago when out on a rescue mission.
