We hope everyone had a lovely Mothers Day - we did. The vegetable garden has been planted! We will have tomatoes, peppers, squash, lettuce, shallots, leeks, herbs, green beans, potatoes, cucumbers, etc. for the market again this year. (Ate the last of fresh asparagus yesterday.) Daughter Hertha also planted some cup squash, which I never heard of until a customer asked about them. When I mentioned them to my daughter, she said she had planted a few of that variety. Im anxious to see what they look and taste like. Who knows what else she put in her garden!!
