We just received an interesting press release: An event called The Pink Tea will celebrate breast cancer survivorship and offer hope to women living with metastatic breast cancer. The Pink Tea is a free, educational event organized by the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN). It will be held in Columbiam at the Palmetto Breast Health Center and will feature guest speakers and the opportunity to reserve pink bags that will be lit in honor or memory of a loved one who has fought breast cancer (more info in the link). If any local residents or health providers ever organize a similar event, wed love to hear about ahead of time! Speaking of, the annual Pink-Out game at Fort Mill High is coming up - Sept. 26. Mark your calendars and rmember to get your pink on!
