We know very well that marriage is every girl’s Ultimate Dream, that dream which she sees from her teenage time on seeing Sharukh Khan says, I want this Raj it’s a phase of each and every girl’s life to dream about their dream boy. Rashmi Kaur, a 22 year beautiful girl from Punjab dreamt the same. Her Prince Charming, her wedding, her honeymoon, kids,etc. Her dream was coming true. Her family got a marriage proposal for her from a good high- class family. Her Prince charming was really a prince. They got engaged and their wedding was fixed. The Wedding Day arrived, Rashmi was too excited about her wedding. She had beautiful mehndi on her hands. She went to Beauty Parlour for her bridal makeup shortly before her marriage in morning with her three friends. After few hours, the Beautician had made her the most Beautiful bride. She came out of the parlour with her friends to move towards the wedding venue. But, her destiny had some other plans for her. As she stepped outside the Parlour, a young man approached her, threw acid on her face and fled the spot. Rashmi sustained 45% burns and injuries. The other three girls also suffered the attack, but did not sustain any injury and were discharged soon. Rashmi was admitted to Hospital, where Doctors say that she was stable but did not rule any damage to her eyesight and her face was completely melted. Her Chest and abdomen were also affected due to the attack. The Accused was a friend of Victim’s brother. He was coercing her to marry him and had threatened her of dire consequences if she did not marry him. Rashmi’s marriage which was scheduled to take place should be postponed but was cancelled, as she is now no more beautiful, not attractive, not a marriage material. #Abhay_Sehgal
