We today dont live like Paul, who was always lived in the conscious sense of the judge, and the day of judgment, and that we shall be held accountable for every idle word that we speak. And that all we have done in our bodies, both good and bad will one day be before us when we come before the judgment Throne of God. In the Prophet Jeremiahs day the thing that was so heavy on his heart was that the false prophets were telling the people what they wanted to hear and the people naturally flocked. BUT when Jeremiah would start to prophesy the true Word of the Lord, the people said, would you get this guy to shut up! Would someone take care of this guy, we dont want to hear this anymore! In 2 Timothy 4:3 talking about the last days, we read, For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; If you have no fear of God you have to invent a gospel of convenience. when Paul the apostle preached he preached like this. 1 Corinthians 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
