Wed. 11/9/2013No Love Greater Than God’s LoveJn. 15:9-15 There are people for whom we have some depth of love. A good question is how much can we sacrifice for our loved ones. We can go to great depths to express our love for our loved ones, but hardly is there anyone that would want to lay down his life for his loved one to live. Many husbands will be reluctant to donate one kidney for their spouses. Same reluctance is expressed by wives and even parents for their children. The depth of love of God for man was demonstrated by Jesus Christ. He left His glorious throne in heaven to live on earth. Much more than that He was willing to give His life and die that man should live. There cannot be any depth of love that a man can show that is greater than this. God’s actions are dictated by this unparalleled love for man. Point of Emphasis: You cannot receive love from any man that can compare with the love from God.Prayer Point: Help me, O God, to know the depth and height of your love for me. And help me to show that kind of love to others.
