Wed like to introduce you to a very special dog--Mia Bella. Like many Pit Bulls, she has endured horrible abuse at the hands of people, yet her heart and spirit remain, somehow, resilient. She is now safe at the League, but we ask you to read about her journey in the hopes that you might help her. Weve never done this before, but we are asking for help with the cost of her medical bills. When you see the abuse shes gone through (and we warn you, some of the pictures are very graphic), you can see why her situation was so dire. Any amount you can contribute is appreciated and if you cant give me money, you can share her story. And if youre a volunteer, you can meet her soon and help her get to know more good people. Because even though her abusers hurt her immeasurably, its the good people who are going to help her trust and love again.
