Welcome you all, my friends, to this momentous day, which exclusively belongs to every one of us individually, whether one likes it or not, accept it with tacit approval or grudgingly acknowledge it with a stony silence, the ALL FOOLS DAY, culminating to the day, of a DECADE OF FOOLS. The mid-summer madness has now come to a close and we are on the threshold of creating either a mountain out of mole hill or a phantom out of a lurking shadow walking stealthily ahead of us. We are now caught literally between the DEVIL and the DEEP SEA. Enough time has been allocated by our gracious ELECTION COMMISSION, which in its wisdom, approves all and sundry, who has no traceable history of deceit or proven record of misfeasance to represent us in the AUGUST HOUSE to be constituted in mid-May, when the the tenuous and fragile tenure of a decade long overlordship ceases, bringing a great sigh of relief, and ushering in a hope we have been cherishing for the past six decades and more. If history repeats itself as many expect it to, are we living in a FOOLS PARADISE , or shrug our shoulders and decidedly put an end to the everlasting mis-governance , by shaking our ennui and indifference and take the risk of trotting to the pool booth and cast our invaluable vote perhaps to cheat ourselves again. If winter comes, is summer far behind? The day of deliverance is not far off . If MOHAMMED does not come to us, are we not duty bound to scale up to the mountain and beseech HIM. TIME ALONE CAN TELL.
