Well, I have a meeting scheduled for next Tuesday the 4th, to discuss my project on Kwajalein Atoll. Which is out near the Marshall Islands. I hope I get to spend a week or two there!! Heres some info: Kwajalein Island is the southernmost, and the largest, of the islands in the Kwajalein atoll. The northernmost, and second largest, island is Roi-Namur.[citation needed] The island is about 1.2 square miles. It is 2.5 miles long and averages about 800 yards wide. The population of Kwajalein Island is currently around 1,000 individuals, mostly Americans and a small number of Marshall Islanders and other nationals, all of whom have express permission from the U.S. Army to live there.Approximately 13,500 Marshallese citizens live on the atoll, most on Ebeye Island. The water temperature averages 81 °F degrees and underwater visibility is typically 100 feet on the ocean side of the atoll.[
