Well...Its been an awesome and fulfilling week at Toms River, NJ working the Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts. The fellowship we had with the 2 families whose houses we worked on as well as with the host church (First UMC) was a wonderful blessing. The host church (Tom and Kathy were our hosts) was terrific for housing us there for a week and feeding us dinner twice. Thursday and Friday we completed our assignments on the home of Joan and Rich. We had to install a backsplash tile in 2 areas of the kitchen, tile over the existing brick fireplace, install a microwave, install pulls and knobs on the cabinets/drawers, and build a mantle for the fireplace.
