Well, Ive got to go to bed. Im tired and I have done everything I can do tonight to find homes for these two young male chihuahuas that were dumped on my road tonight. They were NOT on my to-do list for this weekend, but I guess life is full of surprises that run up to you when youre taking the trash to the road, when you least expect it. One more time, for good measure: here they are, as of 2 hours ago, right about when they saw me and came running. I need to place them ASAP in a good home. I think they may be litter-mates. Theyre very attentive to one another, and right now, theyre hunkered down in an old mattress pad in a box on my front porch. The coyotes are loud in the woods tonight. These guys wouldnt have made much of a meal, but thats what they would have been. Ive reached out to every rescue org that I can think of. Nite, all.
