Well heres a run around of what happened and whats goin on: At my appointment yesterday my blood pressure was sky high and my swelling was extreme all the way to my knees.Since Im overdue and overweight the doctor was concerned about putting stress on Ellie and I so she sent me to be induced.They started pitocin at 1:30 and I started having contractions soon after but they werent unbearable,more like harsh period cramps.By 5:30 I was only 1cm dilated and 60% effaced,at the doctors office earlier that morning I was 1cm and 80% effaced,so I had no progress last night.Her head is not engaged at all,and my doctor honestly thinks shes just to big to push out and her shoulders wont pass.I was taken off the pitocin around 8 last night and the contractions I was having completely stopped about an hour later,we were hoping it would have kicked in natural labor :/ Im startin the pitocin again in about an hour but if I have no progress within 6 hours she will operate to get Ellie May out safe and sound....Please send your thoughts and prayers! Im extremely nervous about today but I know at some point Ill be holding my baby girl,and her safety is whats most important
