Well then Mr Gove, that was an interesting speech. My high school became an academy, we were forced to go to an extra curricular session at the end of the school day. It was horrific, most people hated it. You also mentioned extending the school day to help mandate such things, well I can guarantee that when you take away the free element of after school clubs then it will no longer be free, compulsory is not enjoyable. While I agree we do need to change the education system, this is not the way to do it. Mr Gove, you will single handily bring us down on our knees. Oh and PS, your heartfelt thanks, what a load of bulls**t.
