Well, well, well. I thought I had my phone fixed, left the store with my new sims card in, made a call, received a text, and it stopped working again. I went back to the AT&T store, tried to show the hunky techie that the new card was not the fix after all, and the phone worked just fine. He said I just came back to see him, lol! I told him that while he IS cute, I AM busy and SWORE the phone HAD stopped working again! When I got home it was out again. I took the phone apart, blew on every part of it I possibly could, jiggled every thing, put the card back in got a message that it didnt have a card. This was the first time it had given that particular message, but... It doesnt know it has a card? This means it isnt making contact with its card. I looked around. If you know me, you know I do not care what something is made for. I care what it might work for. I stuck a toothpick (because it was the closest thing to me that looked like a possibility for my purpose) in the case between the card and the cover because I realized it must not be making contact with whatever its supposed to, and wa la! I can now use my phone for calls and tethering for the first time in a week or so without interruption. AT&T needs to pay ME to fix phones!
