Well; you may think the stripping naked of the women in the cities is just a men think. I doubt it. Lets take a second and think about it... When Uhuru was boot hauled in Migori, was a woman involved? how about the man who smacked RAO in Mombasa, was he a woman? When Gor Mahia fans did it in Machakos, were there women? I doubt whether the killings in Kapedo and other areas are done by women either. In a sense, what is going on is that the society is deteriorating; the problem is that instead of the nation viewing it as a general societal problem, we tend to group it. Idle, uneducated and unemployed youth are looking for things to do. When they threw stones in Machakos, they were labeled Gor Mahia Fans or worse still Luo fans same to the Migori incident. The man who smacked RAO was labeled insane altogether. Now they are enjoying ripping women off their rags; Well I dont belong to the school of thought that women should put on rags instead of clothes. These current incidents are now gender related. Lemi put it to you; our country is loosing the moral ground, my younger brother, Oduor Martin, likes to associate it with the presidency and lack of respect to it, and am starting to think he may just be right. Of the former three presidencies; we have not witnessed any of these madness and even if there were, they existed in relative isolation. What is wrong with our presidency that causes it to loose its appeal to respect? Remember also, when I say presidency, I mean the office, its holder and the people around him.... at this point you should have a panoramic view of the ruling coalitions senate representation, the National assembly, even their leader of majority, and the president himself. For One, I strongly think, having a youth for a president in our setting is far fetched; the youths be like #BoizWaMine; well the other reasons on the presidency are well defined and documented. The presidency aside; our institutions have no respect for the law, poor security structures, faltered promises of jobs and improved education, even the laptops project, though misplaced it was still a promise not delivered. I can list so many lies and faltered promises of the last five or so years. The failure to provide hope for her Citizens, is the root cause of these occurrences; simply put, he youth are giving up, they are disillusioned, disappointed and hopeless. Now at such age, you must be a mad man not to think they will not do evil. I mean If your dad lies to you and you know it, you will not hold your hand on your sister. All in all, I condemn these stupid acts, but then again women should consider dressing decently. but that is not an excuse. All opinions on this wall are mine and mine alone.
