Went to see Dick early this morning......he went to dialysis around 8:15am and then had the surgery.....got back to his room at 5:15p.m. Long day of poking....he is in less pain tonight...the new incision has made him more comfortable. More dialysis tomorrow,no release date yet. He is breathing so much better. I will not start the training for peritoneal dialysis for a few months. He will be on hemodialysis until he gets stabilized. Eager to learn how to manage his needs at home,will make life less complicated (his diet will not be so restricted.) Ready for my tea and relaxing with The Boys!
