Were taking another look behind the lens to introduce you to our Sofar Sounds: Dallas/Fort Worth photographer, Ryan Isenhart Photography. Heres what Ryan had to say when we asked him how he got involved with Sofar: I discovered Sofar while browsing an online video of Denton, Texas natives Seryn. Not only was I blown away by the Seryn performance, but also really impressed with the sound quality and video production of the clip. I have a photography business that up until that time had focused primarily on family photography, but I was looking for other creative outlets. I reached out to Sofar because I thought it would be a great way for me to express my love of live music and to get experience with concert photography. Since then Ive had the pleasure of shooting the Sofar: Dallas pre-SXSW showcase...hosting members of Eros and the Eschaton while on there way down to Austin for SXSW...and recently I did the photography for the inaugural Sofar: Denton chapter. Ive found that Sofar is a great way to hone my photography skills while discovering new talent and supporting emerging musicians.
