Were very excited to feature original works by Lancaster-based artist, photographer, and educator Shelah Riley. In her artist statement she writes, As a painter I love to work with my hands, often abandoning the paintbrush entirely. I manipulate the paint with my fingers to create gestural strokes and often incorporate different mediums, such as charcoal, ink, pencil, and pastels. I draw inspiration from poetry and nature to create my works.
