Weve all been stunned by the passing of Robbin Williams. Most of us so much so - were not willing to call it a Suicide in most posts... We need to listen and pay attention though... as this is the way we in society can learn this time. Men: Watch This Video! Women: Please share with your men. Seeing someone I so admire truly knocked me backward - and made realize how important it was that I dealt with my own depression. I made this video in the hopes that other Men would see it and realize how important it is to seek help - either professionally, or by reaching out to someone that truly will care and be honest. Fishing/Drinking buddies serve their purpose. However, when youve arrived in that dark place where you feel like the world is against you... Its time to turn elsewhere. Never feel like you cant go to a professional...and if you do, at minimum...seek a priest, pastor, minister, TRUE best friend, or someone that will ACTUALLY listen and help you help yourself. One guy I know that is helping men, and want to hear a Mans Man perspective...I recommend following and reaching out to Jason Barnett. Hes been through some real shit - and hes also a great listener...and hell also give you some direction. Finally - begin each day with some kind of regular ritual. It took a year for me - but I completely reprogrammed my state of mind by watching positive uplifting speakers/pastors/motivators for an hour every day when I woke up. Do something. Take Action.
