Weve been listening to Howard Sterns Birthday Bash, and the lineup has been incredible--hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, with Jimmy Fallon, Johnny Knoxville, the Black Keys, Kathy Griffin, Barbara Walters, Robert Downey Jr., Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Bon Jovi, Louis CK, Jewel, Katie Couric, Steven Tyler, Heidi Klum, John Fogarty, Sarah Silverman, Ryan Philippe, Natalie Maines, Rosie Odonnell, Larry King, Dave Letterman...its been absolutely great. A historic night. The best song, though, was from Dave Grohl, who came on and told how, when on the show for the first time, was asked to play an acoustic song. He could only think of one song he didnt have to scream at 6:30am, though he had never done it acoustic before. He ripped off this version cold, and its actually become more popular than the original. It also completely shut up a crowd of 1,500 scumbags, listeners, wack packers, movie stars, broadcasters, comedians, rock stars, and billionaires, all drunk off their asses...
